Extender Multi-selection List

Posted on by 40

In Base GP Extender is there a way to create a multi-selection list?  I do not want to use multiple checkboxes, too many selections and combination of selections.  If no, options please?

Use the data type List.  You get to specify a list and it shows as a pulldown on the window.  When you create the field and specify the type as List, click on the expansion arrow to the right and it will allow you to enter the list of options.

If you want to use a list from another table, create a lookup against the source table and use that lookup.

Our Extending MS Dynamics GP book will be out in a few weeks.  Just finished the writing today!
