Manager can't able to get approve / reject actions in Leave Workflow

Dear experts,

I have applied leave form Employee Self service and Workflow is Manager Level Workflow. I have tried to approve leave from Manager Logins. I did not found "Approve / Reject" actions in Workflow history. I got this error in Tracking details.

Stopped (error): SysWorkflowQueue-resume X++ Exception: Work item could not be created. Insufficient security permissions for user KarYee. Please review the user's security permissions to ensure they are sufficient for this workflow document and then resume the workflow.

For Kar yee, Do i need to give any permissions?What are the list of permissions & where?

Hi Sowjanya Kalluri,

Please assign the role 'manager' to KarYee.

In the ESS workspace 'My information'- work items assign to me and 'My team' -pending time off requests from my team, you can approve it.

I have Published. Still i am unable to get those actions. I have Checked for Approve absence duty also for that also permissions are granted.

Please do the needful.

Hi Sowjanya Kalluri,

Did you publish them? You need to publish them for the permissions to take effect.

The default manager role of the system has permission to approve leave plan (it has the duty of Approve absence). So has the duty or privilege of the manager been modified before if it is assigned to the KarYee before?

Note: The workflow stopped due to an error cannot continue, you can recall and re-submit a leave request.

Thank you for your efforts.

I have assigned Duty / Privilege 'Approve employee leave request' to manager role. Applied again leave for employee, but Still i am unable to get those actions.

Hi Sowjanya Kalluri,

What role is assigned to KarYee?

Assign the duty or privilege ‘Approve employee leave requests’ to this role. Then you will find related workflow list in 'work items assigned to me' in ESS workspace.

Submit a request and try again.
