Add drop down to List form in Dynamic CRM

HI
I want to add drop down in account entity which will appear in Main form(Home page of account entity). How to achieve this functionality ?

Our main requirement is to filter the required based on year and month. Only selected year and month data will be visible to list.

Below is the screen shot

Anyone having idea ?

No John, don't proceed with DOM. It's unsupported

You cannot add control on Main form. You can use default filter capabilities of Main Grid. On the top corner of Main Grid you will have filter icon button
