5One of the steps during our order fulfilment process is to replenish our Flowracks/Staging area. Currently we can fit about 2 weeks worth of inventory for all our skus in the flowracks. When new sales orders come in we would prefer them to first allocate to the flowrack regardless of FIFO, but then revert to FIFO should it not be able to fulfill from the flowrack. We are currently using lot-tracking, and multi-bin. I ideally would want a way to specify/override the allocation/fulfillment order. At this point my solution is to transfer all the inventory for an item to another site, and back in order to reset the received dates. Any advice is much appreciated.
