Business Central V15 Webservices consumes a lot of memory, sometimes it spikes around 21GB of Demanded RAM. Other than upgrading RAM on the Physical Server, where there any patches to optimise it ?

    Do you know what users are doing, are they running some heavy reports, etc. Some more information about the server may be helpful.

    Hello,

    Yes, RapidStart is not very good in large datasets.

    Some suggestions here:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../performance-application

    We should probably add a paragraph with the following:

    RapidStart is just not good at large datasets. In cases like this we would be better off with a dedicated import/export using xml-ports (which  also handle flat ; -separated fields). I think partners can build that themselves faster than what it would take for RapidStart to import 40k+ lines.

    Possible mitigations:

    1. Advise to do smaller files (batches) and/or do this off hours

    2. Change / bump the db config?
