reservation error creating warehouse pick after 18.1 upadte

Hello,

After the update 18.1 we have the following error creating warehouse pick for most items - "The Reservation Entry does not exist. Identification fields and values: Entry No.='58024',Positive='No'"

We have FEFO settings for warehouse pick. 

We have found out that the problem is in reservation entries of type Surplus. If we delete those entries there are no errors while picking. 

However, the surplus entries emerge every time we run the planning worksheet.

    Thank you for posting on the Forum and thank you for providing a heads up on the issue.. 

    I would recommend escalating a case through Partner support with a documented reproduce scenario if you have clarified the reproduce in a standard Demo Tenant. Investigating Reservation Entries' errors with FEFO picking and planning requires deep investigation and is beyond a Forum posting.  Support woudl need you to.confirm Location Card configuration for the Warehouse (i.e. Is Directed Put-away & Pick enabled or a combination of Warehouse Settings) and confirm the Item setup with Item Tracking and Planning detailed configuration will help in analyzing the issue and escalating any issue for correction. Also, confirm whether the Order Tracking Policy has been enabled with setting other than None. 

    These are all important details to provide in the Incident.

    Hello

    More details about this issue:

    a) it happen after upgrade from 18 to 18.1

    b) location uses direct pick&put away setup + pick according FEFO

    c) the error happen if you try to create warehouse pick document for production order. Error says: Reservation entry ... not exists.

    Issue is on codeunit 7326 "Whse. Item Tracking FEFO" on function CalcReservedFromILEWithItemTracking (this function seems to be new on 18.1). If there was used planning worksheet (MPR + MPS) there is a lot of reservation entries with type SURPLUS. If we delete reservation entries with this type - it works, but if we use again planning worksheet - problem returns.

    Has anyone meet the same behavior?

    Hello Piotr,

    With this being 18.1, there has not been a lot of case activity related to the specific version. However, it does appear that a similar issue was just identified in a Canada tenant and reported in a support Incident. The issue was escalated to development, so we are waiting for a code review and testing to confirm the required code change.
