Set Regarding, but NOT Completed

Is there a way to use Set Regarding but NOT have the activity end up "completed" and "closed" automatically? Every time I use Set Regarding, it completes the activity and I want to be able to go in and edit the notes or choose when to close/complete it. I'm using the Outlook add-in.

Hi Partner,

Unfortunately, you can't make tracked email (Regarding or not) doesn't automatically Complete, which is by-design.

But you can create one workflow to change status of the tracked email in dynamics.

Thank you. Is there a way to make it so that any tracked email (Regarding or not) doesn't automatically Complete and can be edited until I choose to mark it as Complete?

Hi Partner,

This has nothing to do with whether the regarding field is set or not.

In outlook, if your tracked emails are sent out or received, the status of these emails are set 'completed' automatically.

In CRM:

When i try to track one received email without regarding, the status will be completed in CRM.
