I don't believe there are any sample reports shipped with the product. The basic type reports only take 30 seconds to a minute to create from within the GP client.
If you are looking for a more complicated example using Excel and being formula driven instead of PivotTable each customer usually customizes these on their own as everyone has their own needs.
You may want to consider logging a suggestion at the connect site and let the product team what type of demo reports you would want to see.
