In Navision 2016, it is possible to do purchase Partial receipt creation for a lot tracking enabled items

In my firm we are receiving the purchase items partially.SO there may be multiple purchase receipts (Warehouse receipt) for a single line item. Now we are facing an issue while trying to receive a lot tracking enabled item. On initial receipt creation, system will allow. But after that, when we are trying to enter lot tracking for the same item in the same PO line second time, system is displaying the lot tracking details of the posted warehouse receipt and system will not allow to delete it too. While trying to delete, an error message is coming. But we want to enter another lot tracking details. how to solve this. Any solution . please help. Urgent.

Hi Mrudula,

You can do partial warehouse receipt with Lot no. but you are receiving material against same PO so, system show you old Lot no. Tracking lines for reference. Instead of deleting old Item tracking line you have to just insert new line with new lot no. System will create a item Leader entry for new line only.

For example you create a PO of 10 Qty.

I received 5 Qty. with lot no. here you can see Qty. to Handle base is "0". which mean nothing will handle in this transaction.

Now I create a additional Receipt for Balance 5 qty. user need to define lot tracking details on next line with Qty. Handle and that will post ledger entry.

Hope this explain scenario. User no need to delete or remove previous receipt line, it's just for reference.

Hi, If your process is Purchase Order -> Warehouse Receipt, why not enter Item Tracking Line information in Warehouse Receipt? I think this can solve your problem.
