Hello,
I'm having trouble with a Purchase Order. Everything was fine until I tried to post it. Now under purchase orders it says released but it's still there. Usually when I post (receive and invoice) the entry moves and I get a notification that says PO have been moved to posted purchase invoices but for some reason this time it didn't. It just says release and remain in my Purchase Orders list. Why? will it stay there forever? Why has this particular PO switched to released when all others were posted and removed from the list?

    Check your quantity. If you have outstanding quantity, the order will remains on the system.
    Example if you have order quantity 10, but you only post 9 shipment and invoice. The order will still remain.

    re-check if it was completely received.
    If at least 1 quantity was not received, system will keep the PO in the list. And You can manually delete it, if You don't expect the remaining quantities to be delivered.

    Released?
    Hi, If you post an invoice via Get Receipt Line in Purchase Invoice, the order will remain in the system. This is standard behavior.
     
    You can remove these unwanted orders using the standard functions below.
     
    Below is a brief description about Sales, and the same is true for Purchase. I hope it can give you some tips.
