Hi All,
I'm setting up the Period types. The length/duration of each project is different. Most of them are less than 12 months and some are longer than 12 months. Do I need to set up different period types for each project where the Length of period needs to match the length of my project? Thanks so much!

I have never seen project specific period types.
Companies usually have a number of period types that they use for time recording and project estimates.
This is similar to what you shared in the screenprint.
Making this more detailed does not seem to add 'value' to me.
