Issues with adding Barclays UK bank account

Hi,

I am having issues adding a Barclays UK current bank account to Business Central. 

I am able to run through the Investnet setup and the account is successfully "linked", but the balance always displays as zero.

When I click on Setup automatic bank statement import I am unable to enable it as I get the error:
"Validation Results

Cannot setup automatic bank statement import because the selected bank requires multi-factor authentication."

Has anyone had a success with adding a Barclays account to Business Central and can anyone help?
It is a standard Barclays business current account called e-payments standard I believe.  It works fine with Xero, so I don't think there is an issue on the Barclays side.

    Has anyone had any success using the UK Faster Payments Service with Business Central to collect direct debit payments from customers and to pay suppliers?

    I believe using the SEPA system requires that all payments must be collected in Euro, so this isn't going to work for us in the UK.

    Any help or insights will be greatly appreciated.

    I know this is an old question, but just in case people are looking for this information: the SEPA format can now be used for other currencies as well.

    In General Ledger Setup you can tick SEPA Non-Euro Export.
