Free Text Invoice Customization working in one entity but not in other

Hi,

I'm facing a weird issue.

I customized Free Text Invoice report and deployed. It was working fine.

Then I created one more entity. And deployed some more changes to FTI. (The package was created from another dev machine this time)

Now, the FTI report is working fine in previous entity. But in new entity few label and it's values are missing. Aren't report customization system wide? Why does it work for one entity and not for the other?

Could it be the overlapping text boxes? but then it should be the same issue in the first entity also right?

Appreciate any tips.

Hi MYGz,

By entity, are you referring to legal entities? If yes, then free text invoices have different designs based on country region Ids.

Hello Gunjan,

Got your point. But it's the same report design with both legal entities in the same region.

I'm restoring the DB to dev box. will update.

Hi MYGz,

That's what I was trying to check if both the legal entities have the same country region.

Are the reports working fine in your Dev box? You could also check the print management setup n both the legal entities for Free text invoice report and check if there are any differences there.

Hi Gunjan,

The problem was so strange, it was also replicating on Dev Environment, So I deleted the Text Box which was not visible. And created a new text box. Now it's visible in all entities. I deployed the package on UAT. The issue is fixed there as well.

Also, I don't have much report customization exp, I learned that Zooming in all the way (200%,300%) and then aligning and moving around text boxes is so much simpler than moving them in the default screen size which is a dreadful experience.
