Hello,
What is the point of the Correction field?
I can't see that field on General Ledger Entries so not really sure what happens when you check the box.

At one point that field did transfer to the GLE not sure when it was removed.
Correction checkbox marks a transaction that it is correction. When this field is checked the amount from Credit is moved to Debit with negative sign ( Or vice versa - depending on where the amount is entered). This allows to make a correction without increasing turnover of the account balance.
