Store don't replicate to HQ

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi Guys

I've recently taken over a customer who's using RMS integrated with NAV (It's quite a while ago I've worked with RMS - so I need a bit of help).

I'm having a problem with one store (they are having 10+ stores) where they had a problem for 8 days where the sales of the store for some reason was not replicated into HQ and therefore not posted in NAV? It's working again and there haven't been any changes so that's my "worry" that things was working fine and then stopped working for 8 days and now it's ok again.

How do I solve this problem??

All help really appreciated.

THANKS in advance.

    Hi ALL

I've just investigated the problem even deeper from a SQL perspective. It's seems to be quite strange since the 401 is completed and the transactions are in the Transaction table but they are not distributed further to the sales table etc.

Any clue about this? As well I can't tell why it's not happening every day but only some days?

    Carsten

This seems to be the way it's been done as well.

Is there anyway a chance to do things differently? Since it seems like the problem happen during the day the 12 as it have posted some entries (10% of the total) and then for the next 8 days no entries have been taken into HQ Manager and then again it's working.

They have multiple store and the issue is only for one of them which is what I believe is strange.

    Hi Carsten,

It should not be effective date. Ask them to change the From date in 401 worksheet. This will pickup the missing data. Here i am attaching a screenshots for you.

Effective date to define when store should process the worksheet

From date  will pick up all missing data during the define date to current.

To create a worksheet 401 in HQ, Use RMS HQ Manager.

Login to HQ Manager, go to Worksheet menu then select worksheet 401. Follow instructions of worksheet wizard.

Note: Effective Date should be specified on when was the worksheet will be effective.

Please let me know if this helps. Thanks.

RE: Store don't replicate to HQ

    Hi Mhir Shah,

The effective date in Woksheet wizard does not mean that it will upload data starting from June 12. Effective date means, that worksheet will be effective on the said date. For example, today is July 4 and I specify July 5 instead. When the store starts to sync, there will be no worksheet  available to process. But, when store starts to sync tomorrow, the worksheet created will be processed.

Thanks MIhir - I've tried to ask the client to do so but they said they are not aware of how to do. Any documents on how to create a manual 401?

Create a new 401 with effective date of June 12th and process it.

This should upload the store sales data from June 12 onwards to HQ.
