Giving temporary access to a prospective vendor on any document storage portal(sharepoint,etc.) to upload documents while the registration for that prospective vendor is happening

Hi Folks,

This is the complete requirement what we are trying to achieve here

We need to add a page in the wizard ,which will capture the attachments during Prospective Vendor Registration wizard process

Below is the step by step process of what needs to be achieved
1. Add a page to wizard to capture the documents (May be a sharepoint link) or a button click which will redirect to the sharepoint site
2. That external vendor will- not be having access to the sharepoint(so is it feasible to provide the prospective vendor temporary access till he completes the wizard process) or pls suggest some alternate solution where we can store the uploaded documents for time being
3. Upon wizard is submitted, during Vendor registration creation – attach the captured documents from sharepoint(or wherever the document is stored) to that prospective vendor screen before the workflow approval for vendor creation in vendor master starts.

Please suggest some ways to achieve this if you have any idea on this or if you have implemented similar solution in your previous projects.

Hi Judy,

Thank you for the suggestion.

But the problem here is we are not sure yet if Sharepoint is the correct way forward.

We are also thinking of storing the documents on Docuref, but need to look at the feasibility if the external prospective vendor will be able to store his documents on docuref because of accessibility issue.

Please let me know if docuref will be the correct approach, as opposed to sharepoint which will also have the same access and rights issue as mention above.
