I can make a simple script to do the necessary insertion in Item & ItemDynamic tables (assuming they are standard items), just tell me what would be the formula for the new ItemLookupCode

I need to copy all the items in a certain category to a new category with updated itemlookup code and category ID.
What do u mean by "copy"? do you want to reassign a group of items to a new category?
