Data Integration or Migration into SL

I'm new to SL but have used GP extensively in the past. What is the available tool(s) for importing data into SL? Do we have something for SL like Integration Manager or eConnect? Am looking to import GL, customer and vendor records and transaction detail. Will the Transaction Import utility suffice? What is the control macro generator? Any tip/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

There's also an e-Learning course for Transaction Import that gives a very high level look at it.

Hi,
You can use any of the following to import the data.
1. Transactiom import : You need two files in this process. 1. Control file(Ctl) 2. Date file(DTA). You can create the control file using Control Macro generator. See the "System Manager" user guide for further help.

2. Solomon Object Model - Using this you can develop apps in VB or .Net/ MS Excel to import the data into Solomon screens.
