Microsoft Dynamics AX (Archived)

An error has occurred in the services framework. Method: AifMessageInspector::AfterReceiveRequest. Error: System.Security.SecurityException: The user name or password is incorrect

I got an incident where users cannot log in to AX2012 for like 30 minutes. (They can open client but the screen is freezing without showing any error)

During that time we found the error below in event log.

 

I also attached the events, could you please have a look.

The time that this issue occur is around 4.30PM – 4.54PM. In security log it shows that a lot of failed login of ax administrator account but we did not update anything on this account.

    I found this log on Security log in AOS event log but I'm not sure how solve it. No event log about this on Domain server.

    No lock, No password change and no account reset to prove this issue.

    This event is generated when a logon request fails. It is generated on the computer where access was attempted.

    The Subject fields indicate the account on the local system which requested the logon. This is most commonly a service such as the Server service, or a local process such as Winlogon.exe or Services.exe.

    The Logon Type field indicates the kind of logon that was requested. The most common types are 2 (interactive) and 3 (network).

    The Process Information fields indicate which account and process on the system requested the logon.

    The Network Information fields indicate where a remote logon request originated. Workstation name is not always available and may be left blank in some cases.

    The authentication information fields provide detailed information about this specific logon request.
    - Transited services indicate which intermediate services have participated in this logon request.
    - Package name indicates which sub-protocol was used among the NTLM protocols.
    - Key length indicates the length of the generated session key. This will be 0 if no session key was requested.

    Hello Tanyaboon,

    Based on the message you provided, it should be login issue, which is related with AD(Kerberos).

    You should be able to find login failure in security event log on AOS server. Check the error code(status and sub status) in the event and decide the next action plan.
