Anything to switch on, etc?
Please advice.
How did you verify that it's "operating"? Is it only based on the "Deployed" status in LCS? This status might be incorrect, if someone has shut down the VM (automatically or manually) from somewhere else than LCS.
So the first thing to try is to click Stop, wait until it's Stopped, then Start and wait 15 min and try if it works.
It's posible that your environment has been shut down in Azure (either manually or on schedule). LCS isn't aware of it, therefore it keeps showing the last state set via LCS.
In such a case, either start the environment through the Azure portal, or stop it in LCS and start again.
By the way, note that I don't what you mean by "Why my D365 Dev VM is operating".
It means why my D365 Dev VM is running.
How do you know that it's running? Are you saying that you're able to log into the VM but the web application isn't working?
(If so, we can ignore the status in LCS, because it's not relevant to your problem.)
Hello Mark,
If you can't access URL, please check windows event log or you can try to restart IIS service and see if you can access.
