I have 10 users license which I want to share between three companies. Company A have 10 Dynamics GP users company B have 1 user and company C have 3 users. In total 14 users. Sometimes company A use up the 10 users license which makes it impossible for user in company B and C to access the Dynamics GP. I want to allocate Maximum user license of 7 to company A and 1 user license to company B and 2 users license to C.
When Company A Maximum user of 7 have login to Dynamics GP , any additional user from company A trying to login should prompt Maximum user for company is completed wait for users in your company to logout for you.
I have no intention to increase the user license.

I'll second Tim's response. Also, it might less expensive to buy additional user licenses than to have a custom module written. Another thought, Is there any way you can limit how many folks in a group can access an application using the Active Directory policies? We've been able to accomplish some very cool things by using Active Directory.
Kind regards,
Leslie
Sounds relatively easy to implement as a custom modification to GP, but I've not aware of a way to do this with GP out of the box or using any of the add on products that I am aware of.
