Not sure if it's just me, but Dynamics 365 for Marketing is incredibly slow.
What alternatives or recommendations are out there for customizing HTML marketing emails ?

Did anyone find a solution for this? We have been using BeeFree for years with our previous CRM (Eloqua) and love. However, the company recently switched to Dynamics 365 marketing and I am not having luck "copying" in the final product. It keeps throwing errors:
HTML: Meta referrer "never" is missing.
HTML: The HTML part of the message is missing a subscription center link, which is required for commercial messages. You can use assist edit to reference the required URL from the content settings.
Text: The plain-text version of the message is missing a subscription center link, which is required for commercial messages. You can use assist edit to reference the required URL from the content settings.
I pasted in the subscription center links and it looks good on the front end - shows my subscriptions links fine but still throws errors and won't let me even test send.
We need a simple email editor that an entry level person can use and make great emails and right now dynamics HTML email editor is a little clunky - getting better but still not there.
Has anyone found a third party one that works seamlessly?
Hi,
Can we please follow up separately? the editor is not that slow, we have many customers using it daily without such issues.
So it sounds like you might have something specific for your instance, possibly? It would be great if we could look into it to see what's going on?
thanks in advance!
Hi word_proficient,
I would look at methods of improving the performance of your Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Marketing instance before considering alternative ways of customising HTML marketing emails. However, if you choose to go down this path then ClickDimensions is currently the best alternative available.
Thanks.
I have been creating email templates this way, however, once you paste the HTML back to the designer, it loses the editable feature in the designer. e.g if I create a template for my marketing team, then they can't edit the template wording from the designer.
Hi Word_Proficient,
I'm sorry that this is so slow for you. We are continuously working on improving our performance metrics. As a workaround, I would suggest using an open source or your favorite HTML editor and composing the email in there. You can then copy the HTML out of your editor of choice and paste it into the HTML tab of the designer and save it.
Hope this helps.
Megan
