HTML add-in

Posted on by 700

Is it possible to obtain the current Path settings (set via Store Operations Administrator) from within an HTML add-in? I assumed it was available through SessionClass.Configuration, but can't see it.

An example would be displaying an item's picture: just the base name is held within the Item, so, to display it from within the add-in, the current Picture Path should be prepended.

the paths are stored in the registry.   You will need to pull htem from their.  Javascript should work.  check out this site for an example.  stackoverflow.com/.../get-the-value-data-of-a-value-name-within-a-registry-key

The user most have read access to that path.  The html addin runs under the window's user that launched the pos and limited users will definately need some testing.  Also the html addin will use the internet explorer restrictions.
