I can't "Open a Record" during approval of a workflow

Dear all,

I have created a custom workflow on a custom purchase requisition, but I can't Open record before approval. The 'Open Record' button can't respond. So I can't see requisition its self. Could I be missing something?.

Did you subcribe the 'OnConditionalCardPageIDNotFound' event in Page Mnagement codeunit?

if not try the below code.

    [EventSubscriber(ObjectType::Codeunit, Codeunit::"Page Management", 'OnConditionalCardPageIDNotFound', '', true, true)]

    local procedure OnConditionalCardPageIDNotFound(RecordRef: RecordRef; var CardPageID: Integer)

    begin

        if RecordRef.Number = Database::"Purchase Requisition Header" then begin

            CardPageID := Page::"Purchase Requisition Card";

        end;

    end;

Thank you for this insight.

This tells me that there is a part I missed on my custom workflow customization.

And that is accessing the record from the approval request page.

I want to implement that code within a custom codeunit, how will my codeunit be triggered or by just publishing the codeunit is enough to open the aprroval record? .
