We have encountered an error in RMS that says:
Invalid Operation 431: This serial number can't be returned--it has not been sold.
A serialized item is sold and subsequently returned. Then the same item is re-sold but RMS would not allow the item to be returned the second time.
Serial record status shows item is sold.
We've been on this issue for months now. Any help on the issue is very much appreciated.

I'd like to study the fix you created for RMS 1.2 so we could determine why we are having this issue on 2.0.

I have tested on version 2.0.0159 and this works. I cannot recreate your problem.

OK - we had done a fix for this on version 1.2 and I thought MS had fixed this. I will check with our tech team. They will test that fix with version 2 and I will get back to you. Ifthe fix works I will let you know and arrange to send it to you.
