Good morning everyone,

I am facing an error trying to post consumption after doing a production pick.

This is the error that I've faced. It says to amend the document number, however, that field is fixed. Under manufacturing setup I have also turned on the field "Doc. No. Is Prod. Order No."

As you can see I am on manual flushing and have managed to pick from my bin.

Is there a setup that I'm missing or is my process wrong?

This is my location setup:

(Bin setup)

More context:

I am trying to setup a single location of a a warehouse for a food company, so essentially the material flow would be:

1. Purchase order receiving at Bin "RCV"

2. Put away of p.o items at Bin "Raw 1" for raw materials

3. Create production order and pick from Bin "Raw 1"

4. Putaway production order to Bin "Fin1" for finished goods.

5. Create assembly order and pick from Bin "Fin1"

6. Put away assembled items at Bin "Assembly"

7. Time to fulfil sales order, and pick from "Assembly" Bin

So far managed to done till step3. until i faced that document error

Would really appreciate the help. Thank you so much.

Best regards,

ZJ

    Hello Zj,

this sounds to me more as when you have an issue with the Number Series you use.

BC expects the Document No. 1009 instead of the one you have in the Journal line: RO000036.

I would suggest to check this. At least this is what the error message says.

    I hope this helps.

    ZJ,

On your No. Series for Item Journals, do you have the Manual Nos. = TRUE? I have the same setup and not sure your setup there.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Steve

    ZJ,

Can you take a pic of the Template = Prod. Batch and Batch= Archerlogi setup so I can see the No. Series you've setup.  Then take a pic of the No. Series List for the No. Series listed on the Template/Batch

    Thanks,

    HI Steve,

Thank you for the reply. May I know where can I access the following? "Can you take a pic of the Template = Prod. Batch and Batch= Archerlogi setup so I can see the No. Series you've setup."

    As for No. Series:

    ZJ,

    Follow these steps:

In the search box enter Item Journal Template:

    pastedimage1620222743742v1.png

Then on this page, click Related/Template/Batches

    pastedimage1620222780633v2.png

Then take that screen shot too.

    pastedimage1620222802222v3.png

On the No. Series List, show me the image if any of the 2 pics show a No. Series. If not, please take a pic of the Manufacturing Setup. Notice the question Doc. No is Prod Order. If this is TRUE, your Document No. WILL BE the Production Order Document No.

    pastedimage1620223411192v4.png

If this question is false, then the No. Series takes over.

    Thanks,

    Steve
