Dear All,

kindly I have workflow at procurement and sourcing regarding to purchase requisition and it's working properly , but I have change some of approval and try to save the change and asked me if you need to update on current version or second option I try with two option

but didn't get any update and still old version active not update happened

I don't' where the problem why a new version it's not apply ..

NB: i don't have any error message

If you will modify any workflow it will ask you to save the changes with diff version. Each version of workflow is saved. That you can check just by clinking on version button in list of workflow So if you want new one select the new that will create the latest version of workflow.

Just need to create Active the new version and OK

Other option is go to workflow versions, select the version you would like to make active, then select "Make Active"

Dear ,

thanks for prompt reply

I was do the same steps but when and didn't found any a new version or update

I note that when I try to selected the option as above it's hidden but not take any anew versions and also the same screen have button save & closed still open , when again try to make save the screen shots appear again.. I don't know where's the problem

Hello ali,

Do you only experience that problem on your existing workflows, or you experience it when you create a new one and try to update it, too?

Have you imported this workflow or are you trying the change the name only?

There is a bug in Ax 2012, if you just want to change the name it does not save the change.

And have you done any change, on development site, on any fields that are used in the workflow such as in conditional decisions?

Could you try to remove any elements and add them back to see you can eliminate the errors that will occur when you remove an element?

If you are unable to eliminate the errors, you should export the workflow as xml, correct the mistakes and import back. Or you should just recreate your workflow.

Are you using Ax2012 R2 or R3...? Have you tried blogs.msdn.com/.../dynamics-ax-2012-workflow-unable-to-save-workflow-configuration.aspx
