Posting Layer Rename

For renaming Posting Layers, it looks like it would need to be done on the backend rather than through the User Interface (UI).

Can anyone tell me the answers to these questions?

  • Are these done as eNum or done another way?
  • Can any of the Posting Layers be renamed or only Custom layer 1-7?
  • What is the Table Name?
  • Does renaming need to be done company by company?  Or, is it pervasive among multiple companies in an environment?
