Hi Lesley,
Thank you for questions and additional information that you have submitted related to this message.
I understand that you are encountering this message when you attempt to sign in to Dynamics 365 for Financials. Are you able to click through the error and get signed in? If not, is there another user who can successfully sign in--such as the original user who created this tenant?
There is a chart on the home page for the Business Manager role which will display Cash Flow information. If the user who signs in is using the Business Manager role, then this is one of the charts that Financials will attempt to populate. However, the only Permission Sets which include the write/create permissions are these:
-D365 Bus. Full Access
-D365 Cash Flow
-D365 Full Access
For the users who encounter these errors, there are two options.
1. Adjust the role: Is there a different role (other than Business Manager) which would more accurately fit with the access granted. For example Team Member is mostly a read-only type of Role. You are able to adjust the role for a user via the User Personalization page.
2. Adjust the permissions: If Team Member is the best role, then you may need to adjust the permissions for the users. You should then add one of the permission sets that are noted above.
