Hi,
We are looking to do an integration with GP to share purchase order data from our e-commerce system to a GP installation using dynamics connector. The other part of the integration would be to accept the product/SKU information from GP to manage inventory in our system.
Can you please share the data exchange format and protocols or any documentation available around this that we can look into to achieve this.

There is no certification required but you will need consulting assistance from eOne or your partner for SmartConnect. That is if you do not want to get the proper training yourself. I use eOne consulting services whenever I need assistance. They do a fabulous job.

If you are looking for minimal development and preserving all the business logic within GP SmartConnect from eOne is the best in my opinion and I have used many if not all. It can use eConnect as mentioned but it puts a UI on it so you do not need to be a developer for most tasks. If you do need something custom they can help with that as well. I don't recommend customers get into the development business unless you have dedicated resources. It is very cost effective as well.

All the above options will allow one way from any 3rd partly to GP(But you have to create a customization to do the same).
For other side, we have to write a custom integration script/coding based on your eCommerce application. Better contact any consultant and stat this integration from both way.
