How to Deactivate multiple contacts in CRM

Posted on by 5

I have a list of Hard Bounces from a mail out that i would like to remove from our all contacts list - is there a way to overlay the 2 x segments?

Hi Rick, are your hard bounces inside of CDS/CRM (as Email Activities) or are they received just in your Outlook?

If they are received inside of CRM, you could create a Flow/Workflow/Plugin that would execute on Incoming emails, check the content if this is a Hard Bounce, and if it is you can use the Activity record regarding field to figure out the contact, and they remove that Contact record.

If this is received only in Outlook/Email, you can create a flow when a email is received on a particular mailbox, and then check the content of the email. If this is a Hard Bounce, you can check the details of the email for the Contact email and get the Contact record from CDS and update it accordingly.

Might not be that easy, but definitely doable.

Hope this helps and good luck.
