Customized Report not updating on the real time after user input data

Hi folks,

I am running into this issue and wondering if anyone have experience. 

We have developed a customized repot on the warehouse shipment header. This report will look at the item tracking line on the shipment lines to get some data. The issue is that after the user input some data on the item tracking line and print the report on the first time, the report did not update the data. But when the user print the second time, the report shows up correctly. 

I did put ResEntry.Reset and Clear(ResEntry) but there is no luck. I believe there is some update / refresh procedures should be placed in the code?

    Are you sure the data you are trying to report on is committed to the database before you try to report on it?

    Thanks North,

    I inserted the item tracking line manually. However between the first print and second print, I did not close or reopen page. Even though I close and reopen page after insert data, the report won't update on the first print.

    Then it is hard to investigate that any further without being able to look at the code for the report.
