Stock movements with AL

Hello,

we have a new barcod project and we want to make stock movements with Android bacode scanner device by BC mobile app. How can we create stock movements event via AL?

    Hi

    There are several different types of inventory movements you can do in Business Central.

    Most of them are done in a inventory journal, some in transfer orders and others by pick & put.

    So i think you need to define a bit more specific aboyt what kind of inventory movement you want to support. Then it is easier to help you further.

    thanks for your message.

    1- we need to input from production orders for semi-products

    2- we need to consume raw materials

    3- we need to move the semi-products between locations on the same plant.

    So it seems like your need is mostly connected to manufacturing.

    There are already quite a few solutions for this on the market already that might be useful to take a look at before you decide to develop your own.

    You will not find that the mobile app for BC is good enough for this out of the box.

    And if you decide to go further with the idea i think you should consider developing something like this based on API's and Power Apps.

    Here is a good starting point for you when it comes to connect apps.
