Hello Experts,

I have created a Business Central 30 days trial account. Can I install an Extension from Marketplace for evaluation purpose in this trial instance?

Is there any restriction to install extension in BC trial instance?

Thanks for your advices.

    Hi

About 3 years ago when we had our trial version I was able to install extension without any issue or limitation. I just run to permission issue at first and added "Ext management" permission. But I could not find any document about this.

    Hi, Yes, of course.

But please note that you can only install the apps of Get it Now and Free trail.

Those which say Contact Me must contact the Partner to help them install.

Just a little addition to the other answers here. You can actually also install the apps that have the "contact me" listing. But you need the app id to do so. You can either get that app id from a tenant already having the app or from the partner.

So if a partner things they have avoided any chance of their app being installed with out their knowledge by listing them as "contact me". That is actually not the case.
