Hi, Is it possible to import historical transactions (past 3 years) in D 365 financials. I understand, it is possible out of box but wondering if there is any way (or tools) that would help import from Quickbook enterprise.
it should be possible to export your data into an IIF file.

Hi thanks and these links came on my search online earlier but this doesn't talk about how to import historical i.e past year transactions?
Did you ever get an answer to this question? I'm trying to do the same.
Thanks,
Tony
Hi Anthony, you can import the historical transactions as part of opening balance upload. I did that in one my D365 implementations. You will need to use Data management import functionality.
You can use Configuration Package to import historical data. They will import as open transactions and then you would post to the proper dates. There is no built-in automated way to do this. There are partners who will do this for you. See the following thread
