Am fairly new to the CRM environment, am trying out the email notification workflow when a case is submitted via the Dynamic 365 portal.
when a case is submitted no owner is assigned and by default system becomes the owner of the case created, now, I want to send an email notification to the user of the portal and to the others (via a shared email group) notifying about the new case.
How do I do this? we basically use outlook for out internal mail communication. hence I tried to setup pop3/smtp server in the Dynamic 365. but am getting an error saying that the server location is not supported. I tried setting the pop/smtp with my personal Gmail and it worked a charm. can you please let me know how do I configure the outlook email for this purpose.
