Failed to Import Solution

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello

Since days I'm trying to import a solution to a new organization on our on-premises dynamics 365 infrastructure. We've got an dev infrastructure where I can import the solution, but I faile on our productive infrastructure. I'm using the same Account that I've used to import the solution on the dev. The user is system admin on the crm organization, cal is administrative, the is deployment admin and domain admin.

Failure 0x80040220 Principal user (Id=4735480c-1460-e811-80d8-00155d009b0c, type=8) is missing prvCreateCustomControlDefaultConfig privilege (Id=481f2478-dcd7-4145-9aec-ab1e789ccdc9)

The user has the prvCreateCustomControlDefaultConfig so i don't get it why it doesn't work

What can I do?

Ps: The Version is Dynamics 365 but I can't choose that on the filters list.

    Hello Rawish

Thanks for the idea with export from DEV and reimport to PROD. But it didn't work. We only use build-in security roles

Please try to build the solution again from Dev and try, Also make sure the  custom security roles included in the solution(in case) have this required access.

Could you please confirm your DEV and Production environment are same version?

Have you checked that the userId mentioned in the error is the same as the system admin userId? I don't know what's in your solution, but it could be that it's updating entities with records owned by other Users, and they are the ones without the privilege?
