Posted on by 25

I need to update/load 5 columns of data from another system into 7000 existing records in CRM 2016.  There HAS to be a way to do this.  I a couple months i need to update ALL the data for existing records and add an additional 13000 records

If you don't have KingswaySoft or Scribe than take as reference following links. These are about CRM 2011 but the way is similar to CRM 2016.

    Hi C. Roy King,

The above method can be used to import the 13000 records. You can use SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), custom code or workflows to update the existing account records.

When I've tried that it tells me i'm creating duplicate records and fails.    Remember this is to Update existing account records.  not just to ad extra records.

    Hi C. Roy King,

You can import the records by downloading a template for a data import, filling the template with data and importing the filled template into Dynamics CRM.
