Unable to delete direct deposit workflow item that is currently aborted in Business Portal

Team member ended a workflow for direct deposit.  The team member is not able to submit a new direct deposit due to a request already in process.  The team member is not able to delete the old request.  Workflow processes show it as aborted.  Need to remove the old request before new request can submitted.  any suggestions?
