Defining a custom activity entity

If I want to create a custom entity and mark it as an activity type, so that it appears in the Social Pane... how do I control the appearance of it in the Social Pane? I note that the phone call activity subject line wraps within the social pane if it's long description, but my custom entity doesn't and I would like it to.

Any ideas?

Hi

I don't think you will be able to change this behavior. Even for some of the out of the box activities, the subject is not wrapped.

Phone call activity has special rendering built-into.

If you are planning to upgrade to UCI, the timeline control renders a bit better than Social Pane, please see below

That's what I suspected/feared. Thank you. Good point about UCI.... I need to look further into that to see if it's a direction for us to take.
