Gp 2010 Safe Pay Question

Posted on by 205

When I upload a Safe Pay csv or txt file and open it in Wordpad the lead zeros in the Check Numbers are missing.  They appear on the Transactions Upload window and on the Edit Report, but not the upload file.  Is there any workaround for this?

Are you opening these exports in Excel ?  Excel will drop leading zeros in numeric fields.  Also, many banks will drop the leading zeros.  Have you asked your bank if they need/want these characters?
