I have a requirement for a one time migration of data from a custom sql database to crm. I've researched Kingswaysoft and Scribe but does anyone have a compelling reason to use either or?

We migrated our data with Skyvia cloud-based solution. Compelling reasons for the choice were ease, convenience and no need for writing code.
Hi dclarke,
KingswaySoft is free if you plan to manually trigger the data migration. Else if you want to auto schedule some data migration automatically then you will need to pay for a product key.
Alex,
Could you please go into additional detail on how we could use the KingswaySoft program without SQL SSIS and for FREE as you explained above? We are currently getting ready for a migration from ON-PREM to Microsoft CRM ONLINE and need a good tool for this, preferably cheap/free.
Thanks
-daniel
That sounds like a compelling reason, thanks Alex!
Probably no compelling reason - otherwise, the other tool would not be used at all.. there is an interesting twist specific to one-time migrations: you don't need a license if you go with ssis.
As long as you keep running that ssis package using sql data tools, and that's all you need since there is no need to schedule it for a one time migration, you can use kingsway connector for free, and you don't even need an ssis server.
