One of our customer is having below issue : Originating Master ID is showing in Originating Master Name for deferral entries in GL. I am also able to replicate this in sample environment in GP 2016. Is this is a known issue in GP 2016?

There is an issue with the originating master id on deferral entries, unfortunately but it has only been reported when posting at the batch level. I have seen people posting at the Transaction Level instead to bring over the master id and name correctly, or just run a nightly SQL job that corrects them in the GL20000. This is not an issue that has been addressed in GP 2018 as of yet.
