Do I need to upgrade to version Dynamics GP 18.5 for the U.S. Year-End Update - currently on 18.4

Hello, 

My team and I are looking into the U.S. Year End Update and trying to decide if upgrading our version of GP from 18.4 to 18.5 is necessary. I have read that the update does indeed include previous versions, but I can't convince myself if that is enough evidence to lean on. We have other third parties to consider when we do our upgrade each year and if we can receive more clarity on whether upgrading the version is necessary than we may save ourselves a lot of time. Plus myself and others could enjoy the holidays more as well.

    Hello, just as years past, the year-end update will include 18.5 this is noted on our blogs as well.  You will need to determine based on your business and what you use in GP if it needs to be installed or not and this is listed on the year end update pages too.

    The Year End release will be a service pack to 18.5 and should be able to update your 18.4 install.

    Remember that when you go from 18.4 to 18.5 you should update your ISV products as well.
