Hello,

I recently tried a on-premise sandbox deployment of 10.0.40 with SQL 2022 Ent. database.

Faced 2 issues:

1. Client SDK missing from the Installation options in SQL 2022 (posted on another thread)

2. Report Extension deployment failure. The event log doesn't give a lot of detail - just that Report Extension component deployment failed.

System.Management.Automation.RuntimeException: Error occurred when running AxReportVmRoleStartupTask.exe to install extension. Please see details in events for AX-ReportPVMSetup.
[10/24/2024 11:41:17 AM]: Error: Failed to install AX SSRS Extension components.

The official Microsoft documentation states support for up to SQL 2022 (CU12).

Versions used:

1. Microsoft SQL Server 2022

2. SQL 2022 Reporting Services 16.0.8969

Hi Sandeep,

I have experience the same error on 10.0.40 few days back i have resolved this by using 17.9.1 SSMS on SSRS. please also see log at AX-PVMREPORT in event viewer.

may be you will find the Domain\svc-RS$ is unable to login on sql.

also check ./TestD365configuration.ps1

Please correct if i am wrong. I think you are missing to install Nuget package file.
