when Management Reporter is retrieving the figures from Dynamics GP, is it reading date from GL or from the modules ?
I am asking because i am finding difference and i want to track where it is coming from ?

Alright, i was able to find out what the problem is, The difference between the GL and MR is coming from the fact that we changed the exchange rate on the GL level earlier, and although i did rebuild the Data Mart, it is still giving different amounts,
it seems MR is reading the exchange rate from somewhere else , which is the original exchange rate,

If this is your problem, that the numbers between the MR report and the GL are not the same, then you will not have to reinvent the wheel since this is an old troubling issue which is commonly encountered when using the data mart integration.
For the mean time, the current workaround solution is to "Re-build" the data mart, it would take you up to 2 minutes and you should be fine.

Yes i have a difference between MR report and GL
actually , i want to track what MR is printing and what GL has and see where the difference is coming from,
currently i am looking at
select * from ManagementReporterDM..[DimensionValue]
select * from ManagementReporterDM..[DimensionsPeriodBalance]
but i am still struggling since i am not sure about the table structure and FK
1. i don't know if this is a integration issue or something else

Do you mean you have a difference between the MR reports and GL module ?
For instance, suppose that you print a summary report for a specific GL account and its balance is $ 900 in period 1 2015, if you track this account back in the General Ledger module, do you find the same balance for the same account for 2015, period one ?

If i want to track the transactions from inside the MR databases to see where the difference is coming from;
is there any guide for the MR database Tables and which database to use ?

It retrieves the financial data from the General Ledger, not the modules.
