Spring Update Preview Features - Gauge and Talent Career Site

The spring 2018 release notes document two public preview features that I cannot seem to find a way to enable.

The company career site and the gauge integration both appear to be in public preview but my deployment has neither.

Is there a switch to flip in LCS or in the Core HR app to enable these preview features? I've not been able to find any documentation.

Hi Jonas. This hyperlink might apply to you. I can't find the options mention in the hyperlink in my environment at all. According to the article, enabling the preview features should be under the admin settings in the Attract module and the second step under Talent System parameters.

Hi Jonas - try this.

In Attract, make sure you have added a job where your role is 'Recruiter'. You should then get an 'admin settings' option on the settings menu (you might have to log out and back in again, I've found it doesn't always appear instantly). In the admin settings screen you should now see a 'feature management' page, where you can toggle on and off preview features.

Tom, thanks for the reply. I do have this turned on but i'm not sure exactly what this is enabling and looking for more information on the feature (blog/video/etc). My organization is looking to find a way to have applicants view these jobs and complete them via our corporate website and this feature sounds promising.

Hi Chris - among other things, that should enable the 'postings' tab within a job in Attract, which provides the ability to publish a vacancy to an externally visible website (the Microsoft hosted 'Talent careers site') and allow candidates to submit an application without manual intervention from the internal HR team. Right now, you can link to this external site from your careers site, but you'll have to create the vacancies on your careers site manually. There's an item on the roadmap which will provide links to other job boards and an open API to be able to set up your own integrations. Once the Attract data is available in CDS, it'll also be possible to even use Microsoft Flow to create this sort of link (dependent on the right connectors being available). I don't have any timelines to share for this though, unfortunately.

In terms of blog posts and video content, I can't speak for for the Microsoft team or anyone else, but I've been holding off from pushing out much because this product has been evolving so quickly - anything we create today will probably be out of date in a couple of weeks. Happy to connect on LinkedIn and/or talk this through with you if you want someone to bounce ideas off?
