Address Entity Special Relationship with Contact.

Posted on by 330

Am working on a Project where out of the Box Address entity is not used, Out of the Box Account is also not used.

But out of the box contact is minimally used, but not used to store addresses.

Everything is fine, but when a Contact is created, 3 out of the box addresses row in created in the Database.

I have investigated , and its because the contact has address 1 , address 2 and address 3.

So because the address fields on contact is not used.

The rows created in the address database in empty.

So my question is can this be disabled? is there an out of the box plugin creating the record.

The impact is space created in the database, and slow performance on data-migration.

So when a contact is created can I stop the creation of address entity records.

    Hi Adeyemi Lawal  ,

You can’t stop to create address entity records on creation of Account/Contact entity and can’t disabled this address entity because of following OOB relationships.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

You cant disable this entity and you cant implement any workflow or plugin to delete the records, because the record is associates with the contact/account.

furthermore, you cant even customize the address entity.
