Work Date in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Hi everyone,

Can someone explain to me what happens if the Posting Date is earlier than the work date?

Since when i was going to post a purchase order i got an error as Posting date is earlier than the working date.

Please assist me on this.

    There shouldn't be any issue posting document with Posting Date earlier than work date.

    It seems your BC has been customized to prevent this.

    Hi, there is no error in the standard feature of BC if posting Date earlier than work date.

    For the posting date, the error is usually only related to Allow Posting From and Allow Posting To.

    As Teddy said, this seems to be a customization.

    And if you are in a hurry to post, maybe you can modify the workday directly.
