Do you use Microsoft Customer Insights - Journey to run marketing campaigns across multiple countries?

Customer Insights - Journey (CIJ) is a powerful marketing automation platform but it has a well-known limitation: web forms are single-language only. If you need a sign-up form in English, German and French, you have to manually create and maintain a separate form for each language. That means duplicated work, version control headaches and a dependency on your CI admin every time something changes.

Then there's Double Opt-In (DOI) a legal requirement in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (and best practice in many other markets) where contacts must confirm their subscription via email before being added to your list. CIJ handles DOI through its Compliance Center, but the confirmation email is sent in the language CIJ is configured in — not the language your contact actually signed up in. For a German contact signing up on an English form, that means a German-speaking person receiving an English confirmation email. Not ideal.


I have built a tool that solves both problems — without touching your CIJ configuration or involving IT.

I have completed initial testing and am now looking for companies to test it in practice. I have attached some screenshots so you can see what it looks like. Forms can be translated into multiple languages and visually styled to match your brand, all from one place. Event Portal coming soon.

    Hi , You’re absolutely right , this is a known limitation in Customer Insights – Journeys: Forms are single-language, requiring duplication , DOI emails are not dynamically language-based
    People are still using separate forms per language and handle routing externally (CMS / logic layer) capture language and use it later for personalization So the gap you’re addressing is very real.
    Your solution looks valuable, especially for multi-country setups, as it simplifies:
    Multi-language form management
    Branding/styling without CIJ dependency
    Reduced operational overhead
    Definitely an interesting approach, happy to see innovation in this space.
